CHURCH CLEANER Georgina Clifton

We would all like to thank the Rev Jo Saunders for all her hard work she has so generously done over the last 3 years in Carlby and the other 2 churches. Although she will no longer be our priest in charge we do hope as she recovers her mobility we will seeing her at events enjoying her retirement.

Now that the worst of covid is over we will be recommencing our community activities with a talk on conservation by Fiona Ogg. We will be trialling a mini Food Bank in the church porch where people can donate food or collect from it if they are finding life hard going. We are now able to keep the church open all Sunday. We are all looking forward to the Harvest celebrations on 9th October which were such a success last year, so look out for details about the finger buffet which will follow the service and auction in the church. We want to fill the church!

JAM club will recommence on the first Sunday of the month in September, all children from 4-13 are very welcome, so do come along and enjoy the variety of activities. Please contact Paul on 01778 590052 for more details.
