St. Stephen’s Church Carlby – Sept 2020

I hope you and your families are all keeping safe and well in these difficult times. One could hardly believe back in March that we would still be leading restricted lives to keep the virus away. However, I am sure many of you are back at work or facing the prospect of a change of job and the stress that brings. I hope the youngsters have had some good non—exam results and are coping well with their return to school or beginning college.

If you are finding your life challenging you may like to pop into a church service or link up with some of the Zoom church services that Rev. Jo is leading. You would be surprised how calming and reassuring the experience is. On a personal note I also find observing and connecting with nature a great restorative.

Services are limited and social distancing is in place with masks now being worn. The zoom link is available from .At the last virtual PCC meeting we discussed several IT options to help improve communications; watch this space.

We have changed the order of services with JAM club now being on the 1st Sunday and the All Age service on 2nd Sunday of the month.

SUNDAY 6th SEPTEMBER 10 am: JAM CLUB SPONSORED WALK from Carlby church via Essendine Church to Ryhall Church. Please bring you own picnic . Money raised will go towards the roof repairs for Ryhall Church.

SUNDAY 13th SEPTEMBER 10.30am All age Family Service at St. Stephen’s Church Carlby. Sorry, no coffee and cakes, don’t forget your mask.
