We hope you are all keeping well and looking forward to more summer weather and holidays, if you have managed to book something. The photos submitted to the competition remind us how lucky we are to live in such an attractive rural area. I hope you all come and see them in your beautiful church on 10th and 11th July.

REPAIRS: The replacement of the south and porch roof is nearing completion. We now have a beautifully crafted restored Collyweston slate roof.

SATURDAY 10th JULY 2pm: PRIZE PRESENTATION and PHOTOGRAPHIC 

EXHIBITION IN ST.STEPHEN’S CHURCH, CARLBY. 

We invite you to come and enjoy the church which will be decorated with your photographs, flowers, filled with music and with tea and delicious cakes served. We will also project the images on the large screen in the church for everyone to admire. Sat 2-5,Sunday 11th 3.45-5.45pm 

In order to participate you will need to print your own photos and mount them ready to be displayed and deliver to Farriers Barn, Farriers Way or to the church post box by Wednesday 30th JUNE. 

First prizes will be tokens for a photographic session at SHUTTERBOX. 

There will be some other local art on display and a chance to appreciate the simple beauty of the church. Do pop along and see what’s been going on in your village during lock down. 

If you have enjoyed this event we would appreciate voluntary donations on the day as we are planning another one next year.
