After what seems like a very long summer we are now well into autumn or winter, and Christmas will be with us very soon. What is certain it will be very different this year, less traditional shopping and socialising and smaller family gatherings and church services. We will all need to think very hard how we can make the experience very special but safe.

Maybe it is time to revisit the real meaning of Christmas as the birth of Christ as well as consumerism and all that goes with it. Phone and video link ups like zoom will be very important to many to keep in touch with loved ones. The church is willing to help anyone in need, so please ask for help for someone you know who is in difficulties in these unusual times.

Thanks to all those who helped improve the church path and plant bulbs on 10th October, the whole village can enjoy their efforts. Thanks also to the artistic ladies who lovingly decorated the church with flowers and hedgerow berries for the harvest service.

Services are limited and social distancing is in place with masks now being worn. The zoom link is available from Rev. Jo. At the last virtual PCC meeting we discussed several IT options to help improve communications, watch this space. We have changed the order of services with Jam club being on the 1st Sunday and All Age family service on 2nd Sunday of the month.
