Greetings to you all from St Mary Magdalene’s Church 

I hope you are all well and looking forward to the warmer weather and a chance to spend more time outdoors. We give thanks that we will be able to once again meet up with family and friends. On the farm we were very grateful for the May rainfall, hopefully this will help the crops and grass grow, the weeds in my garden have certainly enjoyed the rain. We have grown linseed and oats this year on the farm, I am looking forward to seeing the pretty linseed flowers and watching the oat plants develop. The owls have been very noisy at night and a heron was spotted on our roof last week. 

This month we would like to give thanks for all the couples finally able to hold their summer weddings. We wish you all a wonderful day and a very happy life together. We would also like to welcome any new residents or visitors to Essendine, A warm welcome awaits you at our dear little church. 

To all those who are ill at home or in hospital, our thoughts and prayers are with you 

FAMILY SERVICE: Sunday 6th June at 10.00am. This is an all age service of Morning Prayer lead by Katy and Anne. Everyone is very welcome to attend this service. Refreshments will be served after the service. 

HOLY COMMUNION-: A service of Holy Communion will take place at St Mary’s Church on 13th & 27th June at 9.00am. Everyone is very welcome to this service.
