I would like to wish you all a very happy, healthy and peaceful Christmas. We look forward to welcoming visitors old and new to our Christmas Services.
Our thoughts and prayers this month are with The Children’s Society, for all the good work they do. We pray particularly for all the children suffering in Afghanistan this winter and the volunteers trying to support them.
To all those who are ill at home or in hospital our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. We remember especially those whose loved ones have died this year, for whom Christmas will be a lonely time.
We had a lovely visit from the High Sheriff of Rutland, David Wood and his wife Jeffy. They enjoyed hearing about the history of the church, joining the luncheon club for a meal and meeting local businesses.
