Phase 1 funding to replace the church roof is now secured or pledged! 

We have some wonderful news to share which is the funds have been secured or pledged to cover the estimated cost of replacing the worn out, leaky roof on St. John’s Church, assuming we get planning approval to replace with terne coated stainless steel. We are so thankful for the generous donations and fundraising, successful grant applications, a legacy and church reserves together with an estimated VAT reclaim on roof replacement costs, which will help secure the future of this beautiful Grade 1 listed building at the heart of Ryhall. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project in any way. Fundraising will continue, to upgrade the interior so that it is fit for a wide range of activities that we hope will benefit many people in the village.
