ST. JOHN’S RESTORATION & RENEWAL CAMPAIGN REPORT

We are delighted to announce the completion of St. John’s Church roof replacement. So many people in this community and beyond have supported this restoration pro-ject which will protect the building for future generations. We would like to thank you all with a roof celebration event at 2pm on Saturday 19th November 2022. Bishop Donald Allister will give thanks in a short service & a blessing. We would love to see you there to celebrate this moment, to enjoy some delicious refreshments and to hear about future plans for church activities and renewal. Everyone is very welcome.

Can you give two hours to make a cuppa and chat with those who need a warm, welcome space? Ryhall’s Warm Welcome Spaces initiative needs welcoming people – if you can give some time, please fill in the survey pinned to the top of the ‘Ryhall, Essendine & Carlby Churches’ Facebook page or let Sandra know when you are available, so we know whether this project is feasible.

St. John’s Churchyard Champions marked their last regular volunteer day of the year with a potluck lunch in the church. Thanks to everyone who has helped throughout the year to make the churchyard such an attractive place for the whole village. If you’d like to come along to a future volunteer session,
