Main Points of interest:

Grass Cutting Contract 2023 & 2024 was awarded to Prestige Landscape to undertake the Parish Grass cutting, Cemetrys grass cutting and Hedge trimming for 2 years 2023 and 2024.

Highways

20 mph Scheme Review. An on site meeting to take this scheme forward had been arranged with Robyn Green RCC Highways Engineer.

Integrated Transport Capital Programme (ITCP) submission for Turnpike Road. Ryhall Parish Council unanimously agreed to resubmit an ITCP (along similar lines to that submitted in 2018) to request a safe pedestrian crossing on Turnpike Road.

Tree planting in the village. Clerk reported on a meeting with Stuart Kidd, Tree Officer from RCC and his agreement to replace the trees that had died this year in the excessive dry weather and for the planting of a few new trees. This may not take place until November 2023 due to budget constraints and weather conditions.
