We have a lovely, warm small hall to let for community groups or events – contact Iain Cameron: 01780 752218. The reason why no alcohol is allowed is not because all Methodists have to be tee-total (we don’t), but because the Methodist Church (like some others) has always had a big commitment to support people who have alcohol problems and their families. This policy provides the assurance that, at any event in a Methodist church, they should never find themselves faced with the presence of alcohol, or the sometimes embarrassing business of having to explain why they don’t want any. Even the wine at our services of Holy Communion is non-alcoholic.
All welcome to all our worship and events. If you’re “just looking”, you are very welcome – just come along or get in touch.
