CARLBY KOFUKAN KARATEDO ASSOCIATION

The Carlby Kofukan Karate Club practices an old traditional form of karate in the style of Shito-Ryu. We practice Kata and fighting techniques for gradings and com- petitions under the instruction of Nigel Parsons 5th Dan blackbelt. We hold a mixed session of children and adults every Monday at Carlby Village Hall Monday 6-30pm to 8-30pm. Please contact:- Nigel on 07802 223388 or nigeldparsons@sky.com

CARLBY WALKERS Our monthly walks take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and all villagers and their friends are welcome to come along for a walk of between 3 and 5 miles. These walks are relaxed and friendly led by volunteers and information of the route is sent out to regular walkers or can be obtained by contact- ing Dave Richardson a week prior to the walk on 07817 776341 or email bwl.djr@gmail.com

A well attended meeting with 24 members of the public and representative from Agri- Linc.

22/23-128 Planning. Application S22/0538 – Agri-Linc proposal of Commercial Manufacturing on old EFI site in Carlby. members of the public to speak under the direction of PC protocol. Was debated at length by resident and questions raised and answered by the applicant. Deadline for response is up to when the decision is made. 22/23-129 Mallard Pass Solar Farm( MPSF). Susannah from the Action group urged as many people as possible to register as an interested party by 2 March to the Planning Inspectorate

Process timetable: Examination starts approx. April. 4 weeks after this, registered parties will be asked for a written representation, bringing arguments and evidence.

Funds are still required for Legal, Landscape and Visual Reports. Have to commission specialist reports.
The last time there was a planning issue this large it was for Rutland Water.

22/23-132 Budget Proposal for 2023/24 together with the precept request.

The budget was presented

Proposal: To request a precept for 2023/24 of £9541 a 4.2% increase equating to a £44.36 charge per Band D property and increase of 1.79per household. RESOLVED
