CARLBY KOFUKAN KARATE-DO CLUB practises an old traditional form of karate in the style of Shito-Ryu. We practice Kata and fighting techniques for gradings and competitions under the instruction of Nigel Parsons 5th Dan blackbelt. CARLBY AND DISTRICT WI next meeting is on Tuesday 14th June in Carlby Village Hall at 7.30pm. Our speaker will be Steve Seabrook, a retired Police Inspector, who will give us a talk entitled ‘Firearms Incidents’. CARLBY WALKERS: Our monthly walks take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and all villagers and their friends are welcome to come along for a walk of between 3 and 5 miles. Sat 4th 2-4 p.m Garden Party at the Old Rectory with music, games, Pimms and flower stalls. No charge for entry and free tea, cakes and soft drinks. All donations gratefully received and will be split between Stamford Food Bank and a Ukranian relief fund. Church open 10-6
