PILATES (**New Class**) – Every Tuesday 7pm/745pm at Ryhall Village Hall, is an incredible form of exercise that will tone, strengthen, lengthen, and engage all muscle groups of the body through low impact and controlled exercises. We will work towards alignment, posture and sculpting – feeling the burn but in all the right places. This class will blend the principles of Pilates with the smooth transitions of yoga. Mod- ifications will be provided for each exercise depending on the intensity you are after. If you wish to level up your session you can always bring your own ankle weights to class. FLAGPOLE : In January we flew the Israeli flag in memory of the victims of the Holocaust . We started February with Gracie May’s 11 birthday on the 5th and on the 6th We flew the New Zealand flag to commemorate New Zealand day.

If we can help you to celebrate a special occasion by flying one of our lovely flags, for a small donation towards the upkeep of the pretty flagpole garden and the purchases of flags, please feel free to contact us and we can arrange for the relevant flag to be flown for you on the day or as near to the day as possible. The flags we currently hold are:- Golden Wedding, 60th wedding, Just Married, It’s a Boy/Girl, Happy Birthday (plain) plus 90th, 70th, 60th, 40th, 21st, 18th, Merry Christmas, New Year, School and Happy Retirement. If you would like the Union Flag flown at half mast for the passing of a local resident on the day of their funeral please do contact us and we would be more than happy to do this for you.

The Open House team will be continuing to offer a free hot drink to every visitor at our Tuesday and Friday afternoon sessions between 2.00 – 4.00 pm during this last month of the winter period.

A limited library service is available at these times, when visitors are able to return or borrow books and jigsaws, or to use the superfast broadband computers for Family History research (free mentoring on Tuesdays) or other purposes of their own.

Printing and photocopying services are also available at modest charges.

If crafts or knitting are your thing, then you can join the Knit ‘n’ Natter Group on the second Tuesday of every month. The ladies are always keen to welcome new members. Adrian Gombault

RYHALL BOWLS CLUB will commence the new season with the opening of the green on Sat 23rd April 2023, all new and old members are welcome to come along and bowl.
