Volunteers from St John’s, Ryhall were delighted to support Ryhall Academy’s Annual May Festival on Friday 22nd May which coincided with our celebration of the bells at St John’s being 400 years old this year.
This wonderful event celebrates the start of Summer with the whole school being involved in dancing in the Village Square and year 6 leavers dancing around the Maypole. Thanks to everyone who supported by baking cakes and hosting bell themed crafts at the event. The year 6 children were very impressed with their own wrist bells for the dancing donated by the Church and the bell themed crown making competition proved popular too.
